Framed Wedding Dress Heart

When I client recently came to me and asked me to make her a framed heart using the offcuts of her wedding dress and veil I thought what a fantastic idea. I was a little worried working with fabric which was so special to someone but I finally got over my feat and made the first cut.

I'm so delighted with the results, it turned out even better than I expected. I was even more delighted when the client told me she absolutely loves it and every single one of her friends who has come to visit had commented on how nice it is. Have a look at the pictures yourself. What do you think? If you'd like to commission one just drop me an email on lorna@lornasyson.co.uk

100% Design 2012

2012 was my third time showing and 100% Design, and with the show being taken over by media 10 this year... the people that own Grand Designs I was a little apprehensive on how the show would go. I had a brilliant space and I was determined to make the most of it.

I've attached images of the set up and final stand. I was really proud of it. From this show I now have stockists in Paris, Dubai and Germany.

The stand was really popular and I did a couple of video features for Creative Boom bloggers and even Taiwan TV!

Top Drawer, September 2012

Since September life has been very busy and I haven't had chance you keep you updated with how all the shows have gone. I had a very busy 10days when I managed to show at Both Top Drawer and 100% Design.

I was really impressed with how the show went and was extremely delighted with the reaction I received to the new Robin Cushions and lampshades.

I've attached some images Top Drawer below
