New Eco-friendly collection

August News
As always it has been really busy, but this month have been very positive, after winning the shell live wire award and receiveing a large amount of international press form top blogs and magazines for 100% Design and Top Draw, I was asked to collaborate with the show designers JAM for 100% Design. Perfect round up to a great month.

100% Design

I will be on stand H114 at 100% Design 23-26th September, Earls Court, London. Also on the stand will be a good friend of mine SjGuest Designs. We would love you to come along and say hello!

100% Design collaboration

At 100% design I am also collabotating with the show designer JAM to create a large installation piece with at least 30 of my wall flowers for the reception of the press lounge and the VIP room.

The flowers are almost completed and range from 20cm to 90cm in diameter. They are looking beautiful with the sophisticated colour scheme chosen by the show designers!

Top Draw

I will also be at Top Draw 12-14th September on stand D137, Olympia, London under the umbrella of Design Gap along side other British Designers. I will be showing the interior collections, wall flowers and fashion accessories.

Lorna Syson wins the Shell live wire grand ideas award

I had brilliant news this month, I received the shell live wire grand ideas award for my new Eco-friendly collection. Thank you to all those that voted!

A preview of the Eco-friendly collection

The Eco-friendly collection is being launched during London Design week 2010.

This collection is inspired by the British countryside in the springtime, looking at the shapes and colours created in the wild rural hedgerows from local plants and bushes giving the collection a sophisticated colour pallet.

The cushions are all made in Britain with locally sourced and eco-friendly fabrics sponsored by Camira. The fabrics are made from a mixture of wool and stinging nettles, which are completely biodegradable and have a very low carbon footprint and also 100% recycled leathers.
